West Mifflin Police Department taking back unwanted prescription drugs October 26th
On Saturday, October 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the West Mifflin Police Department and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration will give the public its 18th opportunity in nine years to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your pills for disposal to the West Mifflin Police Department at 1020 Lebanon Road in West Mifflin. (Sites cannot accept liquids, needles or sharps, only pills or patches.) The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.

Update: Daemon Klingensmith & Jeannette Funnen in custody. Children found safe.
This afternoon, the Lewisburg Police Department in Tennessee, acting on information received during this investigation, were able to take Jeannette Funnen, Daemon Klingensmith and Ambrose Klingensmith into custody without incident.

West Mifflin Police Attempting To Locate Endangered Infant
West Mifflin Police are looking for an endangered 7-week old male. The male is believed to be with Jeannette Funnen and Daemon Klingensmith.
They are believed to riding in a 2001 Buick Century, PA# LBD-6681, last observed this afternoon on ALPR cameras heading south on Washington Rd in Peters Twsp.
West Mifflin PD has been provided with information that they may be traveling to Florida.

Notice: DO NOT MOVE Construction/Traffic Cones
Folino Construction reported that someone continues to move the cones in the turning lane on Homeville Road making a left onto Worton Blvd causing an unsafe condition.
For safety reasons the cones are not to be handled.
You can be arrested for causing an unsafe condition.
The new traffic signals will be operable in the next week or so and the turning lane will be opened at this time.
