New England Road Detour
Beginning July 14th, 2025

The detour will begin on Monday, July 14th, and is expected to be in effect until late September 2025.
Location:
New England Road starting at its intersection with Camp Hollow Road, extending to its intersection with SR 0837 and Coal Valley Road.
Detour Narrative:
The detour will begin for thru traffic at the two intersections listed above. All local traffic will be allowed to enter the closure areas. Detoured traffic will primarily travel using SR 0837, SR 0885, and the upper portion of New England Road.
For traffic headed South on Camp Hollow Road towards Clairton, travelers will make a right-hand turn onto the upper portion of New England Road at its intersection with Camp Hollow Road. Traffic will remain on this portion of New England Road until its intersection with SR 0085. Traffic is to make a left-hand turn onto SR 0085. Travel will continue this road and past the Payne Hill Road Intersection and the Ravensburg Blvd. From there, traffic will stay on SR 0085 at what becomes Walnut Avenue until reaching the intersection of SR 0837. Another left-hand turn will be made onto SR 0837 and the detour continues down this road until reaching the New England Road Intersection.
For traffic intending to head North on SR 0837 to get to Camp Hollow Road, travelers will have to use SR 0837 South and make a right-hand turn onto Walnut Avenue in Clairton. The detour will then continue this road where it merges into SR 0885 and continue about this road until its intersection with New England Road across from Century III Mall Drive. A right-hand turn can be made onto the upper portion of New England Road. The detour continues about this road until reaching its intersection with Camp Hollow Road.
Signs will be placed at various locations to notify travelers of the detour at New England Road. Those include the following locations:
- Dravosburg Road (SR 0837) approximately 1500’ prior to the New England Road intersection.
- Coal Valley Road approximately 1000’ prior to the New England Road intersection.
- Camp Hollow Road heading South approximately 1500’ prior to the New England Road Intersection.
- Century III Mall Drive approximately 1500’ prior to the New England Road Intersection.
- SR 0885 approximately 1500’ prior to the Century III Drive and New England Road Intersection
- N Lewis Run Road approximately 1500’ prior to the New England Road Intersection.
- SR 0837 approximately 1500’ prior to the Walnut Ave (SR 0885) intersection.
