The US National Weather Service predicts significant snowfall over the next couple of days.
You help our Public Works crews safety and quickly clear streets by following these guidelines:
Please observe any parking restrictions on streets and alleys so that borough crews can safely plow and salt all streets and alleys in a timely manner.
Park your car in your garage or driveway if you have one.
Park as close to the curb as possible so the plows have room to maneuver between cars.
Pull your mirrors in on the side of the vehicle facing the road.

Community Assistance: Attempt to identify
The West Mifflin Borough Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying the persons in the attached photograph/s.
Emergency Services Activity: Eastman Street – October 22nd, 2021
On October 22nd 2021 just after 1pm, the West Mifflin Police Department attempted to serve a warrant for an individual at a residence on Eastman Street in West Mifflin.
For a time, the individual refused to communicate or leave the residence.
The West Mifflin Area School District was notified and took measures to ensure the safety of students in the area.
A short time after the start of the incident, the suspect was taken into custody with no further incident or risk to the community.

Community Assistance: Identification Assistance – Shooting Incident
On 9/6/2021 at 1049 hours, officers from the West Mifflin Police Department responded to the 2600 block of Homestead Duquesne Rd. relative to a shooting incident. As part of the investigation, officers and detectives were able to obtain photographs of the suspect pictured below. Detectives are seeking the public’s help with identifying the male in the attached photographs.
