Pittsburgh – PennDOT District 11 is announcing a single-lane restriction on southbound Route 837 in West Homestead Borough, Allegheny County, will occur Monday through Friday, February 15-19 weather permitting. (This work was originally scheduled to begin on February 8th but was postponed due to inclement weather)
The single-lane restriction on southbound Route 837, on the bridge adjacent to the Whemco building, will begin at 7 a.m. Monday and continue around-the-clock through Friday at 5 p.m. Crews will conduct deck repairs in advance of the start of the interchange improvement project scheduled to begin Monday, February 22.
Crews from J. F. Shea Construction, Inc., will conduct the work.
Motorists travelling in work area should allow extra time for their travel and expect possible congestion and delays.
