Pittsburgh – PennDOT District 11 is announcing overnight paving operations on Mifflin Road (Route 885) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur Tuesday night, October 6 weather permitting.

Single-lane alternating traffic will occur on Route 885 for paving operations from 8 p.m. Tuesday night to 4 a.m. Wednesday morning between Lebanon Road and Hillburn Street.

Once the paving is complete, the dedicated right hand turn lane from southbound Route 885 to Lebanon Road will be reopened to traffic.  Additionally, only traffic signal upgrades and landscaping work will remain on the project.

Please use caution when driving through the area.  Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.

The overall Glenwood Interchange Phase 2 project includes the replacement of four culverts, utility relocation, traffic signal upgrades and the resurfacing of Route 885 (Mifflin Road) between Lebanon Road and Doerville Street.  Golden Triangle Construction is the prime contractor.
