PITTSBURGH – The Department of Public Works announced today that it has permitted Duquesne Light to close Coal Valley Road for the relocation of two utility poles. The closure will be between Clairton Road (Route 885) in Jefferson Hills and Clairton Dravosburg Road/North State Street (Route 837) in Clairton. It will occur from approximately 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.
Northbound drivers on Clairton Road (Route 885) will be detoured using Lewis Run Road and New England Road. All other drivers will be detoured using North State Street, Miller Road, and Clairton Road (Route 885).
Residents on Coal Valley Road will have access to their homes at all times.
