On August 3, 2017, the West Mifflin Police along with the Pennsylvania State Police and Allegheny County District Attorney Zappala’s Narcotic Enforcement Team (DANET) were able to seize 37 marijuana plants from the wooded area in off of Camp Hollow Road.
Pennsylvania State Police Corporal Brian Kaufman and Trooper James Pecori from the PSP Aviation Unit 5 located two plots of marijuana growth and directed officers in on the ground.
Officers entered the area of dense foliage, located and removed the plants.
Our department in collaboration with DANET are investigating the source of the cultivation.
