West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. December 20th 2016. The West Mifflin Borough Police Department had a smash and grab burglary that occurred at 04.14am at a sports store in our community. The two persons responsible were able to take several rifle-type weapons as well as ammunition.
Our Officers and Detectives worked tirelessly and collaborated with several other area agencies and developed suspects.
As a result of that effort both persons responsible for the burglary were positively identified and subsequently arrested on December, 21st 2016.
The department has recovered most of the items stolen and is still developing the case regarding two additional long-gun type weapons.
