PITTSBURGH – The Allegheny County Department of Public Works has announced that a utility company will be replacing a waterline today and tomorrow in coordination with the work at the intersection of the Rankin Bridge and State Route 837 in the Borough of Whitaker. As such, there will be heavier traffic delays while the work is occurring. Work began at the intersection earlier this month to replace a traffic signal, with intermittent lane restrictions taking place between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
