Power of Social Media: West Mifflin Police Posted two photos of unknown suspects onour Facebook page back in late June.About an hour after posting the pictures on our Facebook page we had a number ofsubstantial tips within 15 minutes of the post the mother and ex-wife had called andpositively identified them both.Within minutes, we had WPXI calling us about these actors.More than 10,000 people saw the content of the post within a couple of hours.(turns out the actors weren’t even local)
