Child Safety Seat Safety Checks

The West Mifflin Borough Police Department has two certified Child Safety Seat (and child restraint) safety officers.

To ask about Child Safety Seat Safety or to schedule a check, please call (412) 461 3125 and ask for either Officer Scruggs, or Sgt. Bandik.

If neither officer is available you can visit safekids.org to search for a car seat technician. Click on “car seat checkups”, then click on “a technician who can help”, then fill in your county and state in the search box to find a car seat technician near you.
You can also visit patechs.com and click on “Find a Fitting Station” to find a car seat technician near you.
